Meet Mookey Grinberg – party maker extraordinaire.

His huge Party Bazaar store in Elsternwick Village is an Aladdin’s cave of all-things celebration, with more than 2000 costumes.
“And it’s not just costumes,” Mr Grinberg said.
“We stock everything you will need for a great party or celebration, from the table ornaments and trinkets right up to great lighting and decorations.”
A reputation for quality
Party Bazaar has been in Elsternwick Village for 11 years and has built up a reputation as the area’s destination store for that special event.
As well as the huge range of party supplies, Mr Grinberg said customers also visit the store because they know they will be well looked after.
“Quality and service always – that is what we are known for and we pride ourselves in maintaining that,” he said.
“We always follow up with our customers to find out how the costume was, what they thought of the decorations… quality is important. And people appreciate good service.”
Something for every celebration
The team at Party Bazaar are balloon artists and that has served them well during Melbourne’s coronavirus lockdown.
“People couldn’t have parties like they used to, but a lot were having them via Zoom and the balloons are great for that – they make a great backdrop for the Zoom catchup,” Mr Grinberg said.
Party Bazaar has pretty much every occasion covered, including the Jewish dress-up holiday, Purim.
“There is something here for every event. We do birthdays, hens’ nights, bucks’ nights, boat parties, corporate events and everything in between – as well, of course as the big holidays,” he said.

Mr Grinberg said Party Bazaar has become renowned for its Halloween costumes and supplies, allowing people to get into the spirit of the creepiest time of year.
The store has a specialist face makeup artist to add that extra blood and gore to your Halloween outfit.
