Your guide to Anzac Day 2021 events in Elsternwick Village
Anzac Day is fast approaching, and it marks an important time to remember and respect the service of our defence personnel.
Anzac Day takes place on Sunday, April 25 this year, and there are different ways to mark the date in Elsternwick Village, whether it’s the morning service or a commemorative drink.
Here’s our guide for what’s on this Anzac Day in Elsternwick Village:
Anzac Day at Caulfield RSL
Following the conclusion of the march, an Anzac service will be held at the front of the RSL.
A gunfire breakfast will be held after the service in the rear car park.
From midday, the RSL welcomes the Wild Action Australian Wildlife extravaganza under the marquee in the car park.
Settle in from 3pm to watch Collingwood and Essendon play off on the big screen. Charlie and Fi will also perform in the car park in the afternoon.
Please note: with current COVID-19 restrictions, the RSL is still investigating the possibility of holding their annual two-up game. Attendees to the march and service will be asked to scan in using a QR code provided on the day to satisfy Victorian Government COVID-19 regulations regarding public events.
