Get race ready in Elsternwick Village
With the spring racing season in full swing, it’s time to start thinking about ways you can get ready for racing events.
Whether you’re planning to attend one of the big race days, such as Melbourne Cup, or are looking to host a party at home, Elsternwick Village has you covered.
Here’s a few ways you can prepare for the spring racing carnival:
Dress the part
Need a new frock for a day at the races? Perhaps you’re looking to jazz up an old outfit with some fresh accessories? Or maybe all you need is the perfect pair of shoes. Whatever the requirement, Elsternwick Village offers a range of women’s fashion stores that are perfect for finding something special.
For the gents, there are plenty of menswear stores on offer too.
Plan a party at home
For those who are planning to watch the races at home and enjoy a backyard barbecue celebration with friends, get all your party goods in Elsternwick Village. Take your event to the next level with our great range of homewares stores.
Find fruit and vegetables for a champagne breakfast, meat for barbecue lunch or other speciality foods at one of Elsternwick’s fresh food stores.
Pre- and post-race day celebrations
Start your race day with a champagne breakfast at one of the many cafes in Elsternwick Village. Or continue the celebrations after the races with a few drinks at one of the precinct’s quirky bars.
Thanks to Coles Elsternwick, Bang Bang RC, and Goat House Café Roastery for donating prizes.
