If you’ve been in retail for more than 20 years, you know exactly what good customer service entails. And Lila Koremko, owner of Energie Spirit in Elsternwick Village, is no exception.
“We are all about service here,” she said.
“We always look after our customers and want them to be happy they came to the store.”
Energie Spirit offers high-end street style from an array of fashion designers but without the big-label price tags.
The store is an established part of the Elsternwick Village community and has something for women of all ages.
“We cater for all sizes, and we sell clothing from a big range of designers – international and Australian. So, we have plenty to offer,” Ms Koremko said.
Stocking your favourite fashion brands
Ms Koremko said Energie Spirit is proud to stock lots of natural fabrics, such as linen.
The fashion boutique is a go-to for knitwear, too, with brands such Kinney, Zoe Kratzmann and Hammill & Co.
“Sometimes shoppers feel it’s difficult to avoid the synthetic fabrics and we are always keen to stock natural fabrics that people love,” Ms Koremko said.
The store also stocks much-loved brands such as Kachel, Elm, Ceres Life and more.
While the store’s range of streetwear is very popular, Energie Spirit is also a go-to for that special occasion item you’ve been searching for. You’ll find stylish print dresses that are perfect for weddings and celebrations, pretty blouses and button-up tops suitable for presentations and meetings, and tailored jackets and coats to elevate your look.
“We are more than happy to advise and help find what a customer is looking for,” Ms Koremko said.
“With our variety of designers, we can find the right pieces. We gently suggest pieces for customers to try, ensuring they never feel overwhelmed. Our goal is for customers to leave happy and satisfied with their experience.”
At Energie Spirit you can pick up a fabulously colourful piece from European brands such as Rich & Royal, Summery Copenhagen and POM Amsterdam.
With a variety of brands and a myriad of styles to choose from, Energie Spirit has many loyal customers.
“People come back again and again because we have such a range of clothing that you will most likely find what you are looking for, and they return because of the service,” Ms Koremko said.
“Whether it’s something casual or something for a special occasion, we will have something for you.
“We are always happy to order extra sizes, too, if needed.”
‘Quality fashion and quality service’
Ms Koremko loves her job and the community of customers she has cultivated at her store.
“We are well established here in Elsternwick Village, and it is great to see people returning again and again because they know we will look after them,” Ms Koremko said.
“I like to see women of different ages coming in to shop. We don’t limit our stock to one age group and people know that.”
Ms Koremko enjoys working with her suppliers to choose the right garments for her store.
“The suppliers offer items to us, and I sometimes seek out items that I’ve seen and want to sell in Energie Spirit,” she said.
Energie Spirit is a trusted store and Ms Koremko and her team work hard to retain that trust.
“People know us. They know our brand and what to expect from us, and that is important,” she said.
“We offer quality fashion pieces and a quality service. That brings people back to the store and also means people speak well of us, and that attracts new customers.”
Despite decades in the business, the pleasure of offering a great service and running a destination fashion store doesn’t wear off for Ms Koremko.
“I enjoy it,” she said.
“I like to see people leaving happy [after] they came in.”
