Elsternwick 2016 festive celebrations a huge success

Thank you to everyone who got involved in our 2016 festive celebrations.

Hundreds of people attended the festivities on offer, while wrapping up their Christmas shopping and taking a well-deserved break at the great cafes and restaurants in Elsternwick.

Glen Huntly Rd looked beautiful as fairy lights and entertainers brought energy to the shopping strip for our Twilight Festival on December 22.

Elsternwick Plaza transformed into a hub of entertainment, with roving performers, a live Christmas jazz band, a jumping castle, and the chance to take a selfie with Santa all taking place at the square.

In the week leading up to Christmas, Santa and his helpers dropped by to spread the festive cheer. They handed out lollies and balloons along Glen Huntly Rd daily and stopped to chat with children and families.

It was great to see everyone taking party in our festive competition too, which gave entrants the chance to win a $500 voucher to spend in Elsternwick Village.
